What Are UV DTF Transfers & Gang Sheets?

UV DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are full colour decals printed using UV-cured inks and applied directly to hard surfaces without the need for heat. They deliver sharp detail, vibrant colour and excellent durability on non-fabric materials.

A UV DTF gang sheet is a large sheet containing multiple designs laid out together, helping you maximise space and reduce cost per transfer. Simply upload your artwork, gang it how you like, and apply when it arrives.

UV DTF transfers are ideal for brands, printers and businesses looking for a fast, flexible and reliable way to decorate hard surfaces with a professional, long-lasting finish.

Where Can UV DTF Transfers Be Used?

UV DTF transfers are designed for hard, non-fabric surfaces and offer excellent adhesion and durability.

How to Apply UV DTF Transfers

UV DTF transfers are applied by hand and do not require a heat press.

Peel the carrier film to expose the adhesive, position the transfer onto a clean, dry surface, and apply firm, even pressure. Once in place, burnish the design thoroughly, then carefully remove the top film to reveal the finished decal.

For best results, ensure the surface is smooth, non-porous and free from dust or grease before application.

FAQs

All orders placed before 12noon (Monday to Friday) will be printed the same day and dispatched for next working day delivery.

All orders received over weekends and bank holidays will be printed the next working day and dispatched accordingly.

Please note that for orders 50m it may not be possible to dispatch same day, however we will notify you when your order has been recieved. If you're looking to place a large order, please speak to our customer service team first to confirm turnaround time.

To achieve maximum print quality, artwork must be supplied as:

  • High-resolution CMYK, PNG, EPS or PDF files
  • Ganged up on a 540mm x 1000mm per sheet
  • Outlined fonts and links embedded

We recommend a transparent artboard for artwork.

You do not need to mirror your artwork, we will take care of this prior to printing.

Primarily delivery is UK mainland however we can delivery all over the world.
